Job Summary
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Data Steward to join our data governance team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across the organization, defining data standards, and collaborating with business and technical teams to maintain high-quality, well-governed data. You’ll work with data catalogs, stewardship tools, and governance frameworks to support reliable and compliant data usage.
This position is ideal for those passionate about maintaining trusted data as a strategic asset, with opportunities to grow from hands-on stewardship to shaping enterprise-wide data governance policies and programs.
What You’ll Do
- Define, implement, and enforce data governance policies, standards, and processes.
- Maintain and curate metadata, data dictionaries, and business glossaries.
- Monitor data quality, consistency, and compliance across domains.
- Collaborate with business owners, data owners, and technical teams to resolve data issues.
- Support regulatory and privacy compliance initiatives (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Contribute to the evolution of our data governance framework, tools, and best practices.

Note: Final title, compensation, client, and scope of responsibilities will be defined and aligned with the candidate’s experience level and capabilities.

- Workflow / Orchestration Support: Familiarity with Airflow, dbt, or other pipeline tools to collaborate with engineering teams
